Annual Schedule for Diabetics

Projected annual schedule of patients with diabetes:

• 2-4 times per year complete diabetic foot examination

• 1 visit per year for a simple non-invasive arteriol doppler
  (Click here to see information on dopplers)
• 1 pair of diabetic shoes with 3 pairs of custom or heat molded insoles.
• Routine foot care every 61 days (debriding fungal nails and callus and corns)

This schedule is based on coverage per Medicare. Medicare covers 80% of the allowed ammount for the visits and shoes, therefore patient will owe 20% plus there yearly deductible unless they have a secondary insurance that covers those charges.
